CSR Masterclass Seminar: Business is a matter of human service & High Tea for Charity

Frank van der Zande and Robert Schinkel were part of the Dilmah Chefs and the Teamaker Challenge in July 2010. The event included twelve international chefs traveling to the most exotic destinations in Sri Lanka where the chefs were inspired to produce tea infused food and beverages.

During the programme the chefs visited the MJF Charitable Foundation and Dilmah Conservation projects. Inspired by Dilmah’s philosophy “business is a matter of human service” Robert Schinkel and Frank van der Zande will host a Royal High Tea as a fund raising event to establish a vocational training center at the MJF Center in Moratuwa. This project will focus on underprivileged individuals who have a passion for culinary art and who aim to pursue a career in the hospitality industry.

Merrill. J. Fernando and Dilhan C. Fernando will be present at the High tea where they will conduct a tea appreciation which focuses on the importance of real tea. The High Tea will be held at Kasteel Oud-Wassenaar, Park Oud Wassenaar 1, 2243 BX, Wassenaar on the 24th of October 2010.
